HOW we work
ISN’s greatest strength lies in its ability to integrate Negotiation and Empowerment to develop the skills and self-confidence necessary to deal with the cultural challenges and complex relationships in negotiations today. “Empowerment” means “investing with power”. Our work does exactly that, by guiding groups or individuals on the path to greater self-awareness and conscious choices in their personal and professional lives.
Negotiating professionally does not just mean applying best practices but also learning how to respond, immediately and specifically, to any kind of situation with the necessary skills, all of which require regular drilling for optimal results. Negotiating means being able to listen actively and purposefully and to communicate effectively, with problem solving and team building as your target. It also requires a good understanding and solid command of your emotions, both of which come with emotional intelligence.
Cross-cultural negotiation depends on the negotiator’s ability to reformulate ideas and thoughts in different languages, while respecting the whole sense of what is being conveyed. Linguistic empowerment is how this is accomplished.
All the skills mentioned here, like other aspects of negotiation, have a common denominator: the coaching approach we use to accompany our clients through a process that will allow them to acquire greater awareness of their own abilities and provide them with the tools to achieve their individual goals.
of your own knowledge and abilities
The only constant is building awareness
2. USING YOUR ABILITIES
Correctly and effectively
= KNOWING HOW
Developing the skills to negotiate professionally
3. SHARING EXPERIENCES
Offering your knowledge and abilities for
others and the group to use
= KNOWING HOW TO SHARE
to LANGUAGE and DISTANCE
“Simultaneous interpretation, combined with the latest technology, allows us to overcome linguistic and cultural barriers, making a full, in-depth understanding of our seminars possible. Furthermore, it minimizes the geographical distances separating human beings by facilitating encounters and sharing.”
Innovation in Training and
in Human & Life Abilities
In response to today’s need to innovate and transform training, ISN has
- launched a new learning process: awareness – action – sharing
- developed a teaching model on the Art of Relationships and Professional Negotiation
- invested in the enhancement of individuals and their specific abilities through drills (LAB), in correspondence with the knowledge and skills they acquire with us
- activated automated constructive feedback to improve the quality of the process and training programs.
Learning requires regular practice, just like
exercising in a gym.
ISN is setting up LABottega dell’Arte delle Human & Life Abilities so we can offer a place where learning, training, observation and practice can be acquired through example and the experience of our experts (counselors, coaches, negotiators and advisors) in psychology, neuroscience, business and law, similar to the way knowledge was dispensed in Renaissance workshops, in order to deal with the complexities of human relationships and situations requiring negotiation.
